Katherine joined RBC more than 20 years ago and has held progressively senior positions over her tenure with the bank, serving as a strategic co-pilot to both business and functional executives. Amongst her other prior roles, she has served as Vice President, Enterprise Optimization and has held Board positions on some of RBC’s domestic and global subsidiaries.

Most recently, Katherine was Senior Vice President, Finance & Controller where she was responsible for Head Office Finance including all external, board and management reporting, accounting policy and financial management systems. She served as Chair of the ESG Disclosure Committee, and also sat on the Enterprise Diversity Leadership Council, which drives RBC’s diversity and inclusion strategic priorities. As a champion of diversity and inclusion, Katherine was the executive sponsor of the CFO Group’s global Diversity Leadership Council.

Katherine is also an active member of the community. She chairs the Audit Committee for Pathways to Education, which focuses on breaking down barriers to education for youth from low-income communities across Canada. She also co-founded Metropolitan Toronto University’s Opt-in program, which supports women returning to the workforce.

Katherine is a CPA, CA and is a graduate of University of Manitoba, with an honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
