4 Ways to Activate Your RBC Credit Card Now

Please choose from the following instructions to activate your RBC credit card. You can start using your card as soon as it’s activated.

Activate in the RBC Mobile app¹

Sign in to the RBC Mobile app.
Select your credit card from the Accounts Overview list.
On the Credit Card Details page, select Add or Activate Your Card.
Follow the instructions on screen.

Activate in RBC Online Banking¹

Sign in to RBC Online Banking.
Select your credit card on the Accounts Summary page.
On the Account Details page, select Activate My Credit Card.
Follow the instructions on screen.

Once activated, you can start using your RBC credit card right away.

What is my PIN for my RBC credit card?

Please refer to the PIN instructions you received with your RBC credit card. If you don't know your PIN, you can visit your local RBC branch to reset your PIN. You must bring two pieces of ID with you to the branch.

I tried to activate my RBC credit card, but it did not work. What should I do?

If you were unable to activate your card online, please call 1-877-900-5900. If you have an RBC Private Banking credit card, please call 1-888-769-2585.

What do I do if I haven’t received or if I misplaced my RBC credit card?

If you haven’t received your card or you misplaced it, please call 1-800-769-2503 as soon as possible.
