September 5, 2002– RBC has launched a new, robust RBC Letter Web site, with access to every back-issue of the Letter since the 40s.
RBC Letter, more commonly known as the Royal Bank Letter, has been published since 1920, and took its current essay format in 1943. The well-loved publication, although published by a financial institution, seldom has a word to say about finance, but covers an eclectic range of topics such as education, business, science, Canadian culture, geography and history.
In the past, the RBC Letter was mailed free of charge to subscribers worldwide, and was also available for pick up in RBC Royal Bank branches. Now, the free newsletter is available exclusively online.
RBC receives about one request every day of the work-week, for back-issues of the Letter, and it made sense to provide an archive of the entire collection on our Web site.
The RBC Letter will be published online, with two new editions and two updated classic editions per year.
