Edson Pease - Royal Bank's master strategist
Joining the Merchants' Bank of Halifax in 1883, Edson Pease proved to be a highly valuable recruit. Pease recognised the inherent dangers of passivity in banking and quickly emerged as the bank's master strategist moulding a small regional Halifax bank into a national force.
