Meeting the Challenges of Global Banking

Payday fund
Royal Bank's Head Office Payday Fund started during the First World War to provide bandages to the Red Cross. It continued after the war, helping families in need. During the Second World War, the fund again aided the war effort. This photo, taken in March 1948, shows staff packing supplies for families in post-war Britain.

Royal Bank staff help young people understand the often complex world of finance
In Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, this team of volunteers presented Royal Bank's Your Money Matters high school program to students in seven local high schools. For years, the bank has produced quality information materials for young Canadians and Royal Bank staff has volunteered their time to visit schools and community groups to animate educational programs.
