RBC recognized by the Government of Canada at inaugural Employment Equity Achievement Awards

TORONTO, April, 2016 - RBC was among 32 Canadian employers recently recognized for outstanding achievement in employment equity in their workplaces.

These awards recognize federally regulated private-sector employers for their commitment to creating diverse and inclusive Canadian workplaces. They also provide a forum for showcasing and fostering best practices in implementing employment equity.

RBC was recognized for its achievements and practices related to the four designated groups under the Employment Equity Act: women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minority groups.
