RBC named to 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability North American Index

TORONTO, September 7, 2017 - RBC has been named to the 2017 Dow Jones Sustainability North American Index, an annual review that recognizes North America’s corporate leaders in environmental, social and governance performance.

This index lists publicly-traded companies that create long-term shareholder value by embracing opportunities and managing risks stemming from economic, environmental and social developments.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) are a family of best-in-class benchmarks for investors who have recognized that sustainable business practices are critical to generating long-term shareholder value.  The annual review influences the investment decisions of asset managers who use the DJSI family as objective benchmarks for assessing sustainability portfolios.
