January 19, 2010 – RBC Direct Investing maintained top spot as number one service provider in the discount brokerage industry as rated by Dalbar Inc. This is the third consecutive year that RBC Direct Investing has received the prestigious Dalbar Service Award that rates client services provided by online brokerages across Canada.

RBC Direct Investing ranked first in all six categories measured by the survey including receiving the highest score of 2.73 for client evaluation of online experience.

The annual Dalbar Discount Brokerage Service Award rankings are based on evaluations made over the calendar year measuring a company's quality of performance in product knowledge, professionalism, and their ability to provide value-added service. Also included in the evaluation of service is the effectiveness of e-mail communication, e-mail response times and a client's online experience.
