Royal Bank of Canada (Suisse) recognised with a 2009 Lipper
Fund Award
February 2009 Royal Bank of Canada (Suisse)'s
RBC Diversified Fund Swiss Franc Fixed Income fund was ranked
first in its class of 63 peer group funds.
Market conditions in 2008 were extremely difficult for all
asset classes; however the conservative nature of the three
funds (US Dollars, Euros and Swiss Francs), as well as excellent
management by Eric Fornasari and Alexandre Dugerdil, allowed
the sub funds to deliver outstanding returns for investors.
As at the end of October 2008, the Swiss Francs sub fund
was ranked 1st amongst its 63 peers for performance, the Euro
sub fund was ranked 3rd of 120 funds and the US Dollar fund
was ranked 13th of 98 funds. This is the first time Royal
Bank of Canada (Suisse) has won a Lipper Fund Award.
The Lipper Fund Awards celebrate the investment industry's
top performers. The Awards programme highlights funds that
have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted
performance, relative to peers.
