RBC recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for
2009
RBC
has been recognized as a top employer in a national competition
that aims to identify the country's best workplaces.
The Canada's Top 100 Employers competition, held annually
by Mediacorp Canada Inc., profiles organizations with innovative
programs to attract and retain talented employees.
"This recognition reflects our continuing commitment
to be an employer of choice where people are valued and experience
career growth and satisfaction.. This creates an environment
in which we all win together," says Zabeen Hirji, Chief
Human Resources Officer. "RBC is known to be a place
where leaders care and where talented people come together
to achieve superior performance."
RBC Total Rewards program is important for attracting and
retaining employees. No two employees have identical needs
and priorities so RBC rewards span the choice and flexibility
that employees desire. That's also why RBC views the range
of rewards as a package that extends beyond base compensation:
Total Rewards.
This year's winners were announced in a special issue of
Maclean's magazine, now available on newsstands. Winners were
selected based on research conducted by Mediacorp Canada Inc.
and information provided by RBC and other companies.
