Golf and the Environment
Committed to Exploring Sustainability Issues Within the Golf Industry
As part of RBC’s support of golf and our longstanding focus on environmental sustainability, we have identified two priority areas of focus:
-
Reducing the environmental impact of RBC sponsored golf tournaments
RBC, in conjunction with our partners and event suppliers continue to apply environmentally-progressive best practices to reduce the environmental impacts of RBC sponsored golf events. We are committed to reducing and diverting waste from landfill and reducing the environmental impacts associated with event transportation.
-
Supporting environmentally responsible approaches to golf course management
Many golf courses are already embracing environmentally responsible approaches to golf course design, construction and maintenance that are good for the environment and for the bottom line. RBC is committed to supporting the transition to more responsible approaches to golf course management.
