Awards

On November 10th 2020, The Women Business Enterprises Canada Council (WBE Canada) awarded RBC the 2020 Top Corporation award for supplier diversity. This award recognizes RBC for making a noticeable difference in the advancement of Supplier Diversity in Canada, and leadership in the advancement of diversity.

RBC is founding  corporate member of WBE Canada. Since its inception, WBE’s focus is to empower Canadian Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) with equal access to corporate and public procurement. WBE’s priorities include certification, promotion and development of women-owned businesses.

Natalie Marchesan, Global Head of Procurement, accepted the award on behalf of RBC, “RBC is honoured to be recognized by WBE Canada, and is proud of the advancements we’ve seen in the supplier diversity initiative in Canada. We developed the Supplier Diversity program in 2004, and over the last 15 years, we’re pleased to see more equal and meaningful diverse supplier opportunities. We truly believe in supporting our communities, and this is just another way we live our values, support diversity and inclusion, and serve the communities where we live and work.”
