September 22, 2020 - RBC Bank has been recognized as a top Global Business Partner by Florida Realtors, the largest professional trade association in the state of Florida. Announced during the association’s Global Business Meeting as part of the 2020 Virtual Convention, this award highlights RBC’s ongoing efforts to educate U.S. real estate professionals on the needs of Canadian clients, to connect Realtors® on both sides of the border, and to foster the growth of cross border business between Florida and Canada.

First established in 1916, Florida Realtors today includes 195,000 industry members from across the state, and is currently the 2nd-largest Realtor organization in the country. RBC’s partnership with Florida Realtors builds upon their shared commitment to support the needs of the real estate community and Florida homeowners – chief among them the growing number of Canadians looking to enter and purchase property in the Florida market.

According to a recently released 2020 report from the National Association of Realtors®, Canadians purchased nearly $5 billion USD of real estate in Florida in the previous year alone, making it the most popular market in the U.S. for cross-border Canadian homeowners.

2020 marked the inaugural year that Florida Realtors announced top Global Business Partners and recognized RBC as one of three recipients.
