Royal Bank of Canada has made a capital investment in CashEdge, a private company that develops eFinance infrastructure for global financial institutions. RBC is the first Canadian financial institution to offer its Online Banking customers account aggregation, the ability to view all of their financial information in one place. Called My View, this service uses CashEdge technology to allow customers to view their savings, chequing, brokerage, investment and credit card accounts on their Account Balances page from the RBC Online Banking site. Online accounts from other financial institutions in Canada and the US can be viewed, in addition to multiple accounts from RBC Financial Group. RBC Online Banking customers can sign up for My View from their Account Balances page. CashEdge solutions include secure Online Money Movement and Advanced Account Aggregation platforms that power specialized retail banking and financial advisor applications.
