RBC Financial Group sponsors amateur sport, from grassroots events in communities across the country, to Canadian sports associations helping develop our amateur athletes and making it possible for them to compete at home and abroad.

Local Initiatives

  • Brooks, Alberta: RBC donated limited edition prints autographed by hockey legend Mike Bossy to help raise funds for Junior 'A' hockey clubs, including the Brooks Bandits. For more information on RBC's support for amateur hockey, visit rbc.com/sponsorship.

  • Campbellton, Nova Scotia: RBC Royal Bank donated $1,000 for a project to upgrade Ecole aux Quatre Vents' school track.

  • Hanna, Alberta: RBC's popular Toonie Toss raised over $700 for the Kidsport program in Hanna.

  • Rocky Mount, N.C.: RBC Centura sponsored an international baseball clinic and game for Durham boys and girls club members. Players from the USA and Nicaragua players signed autographs for the participants, who also received souvenirs and Bulls Bucks to buy dinner at the park.

  • St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador: The RBC Foundation donated $2,500 to the Heart and Stroke Foundation for its Active Schools Program. The initiative will provide youth with information and activities that promotes an active, healthy lifestyle.

  • Weyburn, Saskatchewan: To commemorate the RBC Royal Bank Cup, RBC donated $5,000 to KidSport, an organization that increases accessibility of sport opportunities to children.
