RBC receives Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting
TORONTO, December 9, 2008 - RBC has received the Canadian
Institute of Chartered Accountants' 2008 Award of Excellence
for Corporate Reporting in Financial Services.
The CICA Corporate Reporting Awards showcase excellence in
corporate reporting by Canadian corporations. This is the
second consecutive year that the CICA has recognized RBC's
best practices in financial and corporate reporting in Canada.
Again this year, RBC received the highest average ranking
in financial reporting, corporate governance disclosure, electronic
disclosure and sustainable development reporting among its
competitors in the financial services sector.
This recognition reflects RBC's commitment to providing investors
and other stakeholders with strong corporate and financial
