With an aim to be the employer of choice for Indigenous people, our programs are designed to provide rewarding experiences and develop the skills needed to build successful careers.

RBC Indigenous Peoples Development Program

Designed to enable young Indigenous people to develop the skills and capabilities needed to pursue rewarding careers, this two-year program offers rotations across RBC, volunteer opportunities in an Indigenous community, a customized learning plan and formal coaching.

Upon completion of the program, graduates are offered a permanent position.

National Indigenous Student Internship Program

Providing firsthand exposure and a head start in different areas of RBC, this internship offers challenging yet rewarding experiences. For those who excel in the program, there may be the opportunity to receive advance full-time employment.

Employment & Educational Student Awards Program

Assists Indigenous students in completing post-secondary education. Selected students are awarded up to $5,000 each academic year for two to four years to use towards tuition, textbooks, supplies and living expenses. Designed for students who self-identify as Indigenous/ Aboriginal (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) Peoples of Canada.
