Learning Opportunities
When you join the RBC team, you join an environment where we constantly strive to be better – for our colleagues, our clients and our communities. That’s why we offer a number of ways to challenge yourself through at-work learning programs, as well as the opportunity to enjoy work/life benefits that ensure you get the balance you need to be your best at work and at home.
What to Expect Your First Six Months
Month 1
In the first month, you will work with your manager in developing an onboarding plan. This will involve reviewing your job description, RBC’s Code of Conduct and our company’s vision, as well as selecting your Benefits. Along with meeting your team members, you will also meet your peer partner who will help you integrate into the team and help you learn about key business partners. Throughout your first month, your manager will check in with you and find out how you’re doing.
Months 2-3
As you become more familiar with RBC and the way we work, your manager will check in with you and talk about your progress and create your personal development plan. We want to ensure that your role accountabilities and performance expectations are made clear. You will also review applicable benefits aligned to your business and/or region.
Months 4-6
At this point in the onboarding process, we want to ensure you understand the full breadth of the benefits and perks that RBC can offer you. Your manager will review the tools and self-assessment resources available on the Career Management site on Me & RBC, the Star Finder Employee Referral website, and the Employee Care Program website, as well as review your retirement and savings options, which may include employer matching contributions.
Schedule and Select Your Rewards and Benefits
