Why are you changing over
to this new application?
The development of this new application was a direct result
of us listening to the processing concerns of our suppliers. This application
was developed with ease of use as its ultimate goal. The RBC Invoice Gateway is
simple to use because we were able to cater the application to the supplier’s
needs as well as address our own needs as an organization.
Is there a fee involved in using the new application?
No. While there is a fee to use the current application you are on, there
will be no fee involved in using RBC Invoice Gateway.
Will this be a direct connection with the RBC organization
or will I be going through a 3rd party connection?
No. When accessing the RBC Invoice Gateway you will be
accessing RBC directly, there will no longer be a 3rd party
connection.
When accessing the RBC Invoice
Gateway will I be connecting to a secure site?
Yes. RBC has taken all precautions to ensure that as a
supplier you will be submitting your invoices over a secure
network. In addition only users that you as a supplier have
requested us to enable will have access to the application.
Each user will have a digital certificates issued to
them by RBC. This certificate will be the primary
source of authentication when accessing RBC Invoice Gateway.
What happens if we don’t choose to
participate?
You may continue to use the current application you are on to submit invoices to RBC
but you will be responsible to pay the yearly fee of $650.
I’ve recently received an e-mail notification indicating that we
need to pay the renewal fee ($650) to continue using the current invoicing format. What do I do?
Respond to the e-mail indicating that you will not be paying the renewal fee as you will
no longer be using their services.
Will I continue to receive my
payments in the same manner as before?
Yes. There has been no change to the payment process;
suppliers will continue to receive their payments via direct
deposit to their accounts.
