2005 Highlights
Local Initiatives
- Kelligrews: For the second
consecutive year, RBC supported a free program for parents
and caregivers of pre-school children at St.Edward's School.
The program develops participants' knowledge of how literacy
develops from early childhood to the first days of kindergarten.
- Stephenville: RBC donated $5,000 and accepted public donations
at various bank branches to help the people of Stephenville
whose homes were damaged by fierce floods.

Stephenville: RBC donated $2,000 to the Sir Thomas Roddick
Hospital Foundation.

Stephenville: The RBC Foundation donated $1,500 to the
Bay St. George Sick Childrens Foundation, and will be
used to provide travel and accommodation for children
and family.

St. John's: The RBC Foundation donated $2,500 to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation for its Active Schools Program.
The initiative will provide youth with information and
activities that promotes an active, healthy lifestyle.

St. John's: RBC's support for Easter Seals Society gave
children the opportunity to enjoy a day of sailing at
the Royal Newfoundland Yacht Club.

St. John's: RBC donated $17,000 to food banks across
the province.
