Local Initiatives

  • Mirimachi: Two RBC Royal Bank branches donated $1,000 to the Mirimachi Youth House.

  • Moncton: RBC employees at the Mountain Road branch donated $1,000 to the Mobile One Soup Kitchen through dress-down Fridays.

  • Moncton: RBC donated $3,000 to food banks throughout New Brunswick.

  • Moncton: RBC donated $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity, and 80 employees helped construct a home in Moncton.

  • Moncton: RBC donated $10,000 toward the Vision and Compassion campaign of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation. The funds will support oncology, dialysis and research.

  • Northern New Brunswick: RBC Financial Group kicked off its third annual donation and food bank drive by donating $19,500 to various food banks across Northern New Brunswick.

  • River Glade: RBC Royal Bank donated $5,000 to the Friends of Jordan Lifecare Centre Foundation Inc.

  • Sackville: RBC Royal Bank branches collected over $300 worth of food to complement a $2,000 donation to the Restigouche County Volunteer Action Association.

  • Saint John: The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick received $2,500 from RBC for its social skills program offered to middle school students.

  • Saint John: RBC donated $40,000 to Prince Charles School as part of the RBC After School Grants Program. Forty-six children at the school receive help with homework, tutoring and literacy instruction, as well as physical education, music and drama.

  • St. Stephen: RBC donated $2,000 to the Born to Read program.

  • Sussex: The RBC Foundation donated $1,400 to the Sussex Vale Transition House for computer equipment and software, which will assist youth in building life skills.
