Symbol of Hope raises funds for breast cancer research

Symbol of Hope
Symbol of Hope: two unique pieces of jewellery that combines
the strength of sterling silver and depth of natural
mother-of-pearl, available through the B.C./Yukon
chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

VANCOUVER, September 20, 2004 - Hope for a future without breast cancer. It is a dream we all share, and it's why RBC is such a strong supporter of breast cancer awareness and education programs. It's also the reason that RBC Financial Group in British Columbia commissioned two pieces of unique jewellery that raise funds and awareness about this disease.

Created by Vancouver's Susan Fiedler, the Symbol of Hope combines the strength of sterling silver and depth of natural mother-of-pearl.

For women, the Symbol of Hope is found in a circular pendant with an 18-inch Italian necklace. For men, the Symbol of Hope has been transferred to stylish cufflinks.

They will be on sale in October (Breast Cancer Awareness month) through December 31, 2004. The price is $50 for the pendant and chain and $60 for the cufflinks. All proceeds go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF).

The Symbol of Hope can be purchased through the B.C./Yukon chapter of the CBCF website at cbcf.org/bcyukon.
