RBC and the Terry Fox Run

TORONTO, August 19, 2004 - This year marks the 24th annual Terry Fox Run, considered to be the largest, single-day fund-raiser for cancer research in the world.
RBC has been a long-time supporter of the Terry Fox Run, with employees all around the world taking part.
This year, as in the past, RBC Royal Bank branches are accepting pledge sheets from runners across Canada.
RBC Capital Markets has also supported the campaign with a three-year pledge of $450,000 to cover all printing costs-so that every penny from the run can be directed right to cancer research.
