Contest Rules & Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. To enter, starting on April 4, 2005, complete the official entry form available in your Saskatchewan RBC Royal Bank® Branch or at hockey exhibits tour stops. Deposit your ballot into the ballot box at the branch or at the exhibit tour location. All entries must be received by close of business hours in the participating RBC Royal Bank Branches, May 15, 2005 (the Contest Closing Date). Enter as often as you like. All entries received by the Contest Closing Date will be eligible for the Grand Prize draw. The Royal Bank of Canada, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and the Fairmont Waterfront (the "Contest Sponsors") will not be responsible for late, lost or destroyed entries.

2. Prize - There will be One Grand Prize awarded, consisting of a Package for Two to the IIHF 2006 World Junior Hockey Championships in Vancouver in 2006. The Grand Prize includes 2 tickets to the Bronze medal game and 2 tickets to the Gold medal game both scheduled for Thursday, January 5, 2006, hotel accommodations for two nights at the Fairmont Hotel, Vancouver (based on double occupancy) with dinner for two on one night at the Fairmont Waterfront. Also included is $1,000.00 towards transportation and spending money. Approximate Retail value $3,000.00. Prize must be used during the event and dates applicable. The Grand Prize winner and their travel companion will be responsible for obtaining any required travel and health documents, and for all transportation needs, meals other than described above, gratuities, applicable taxes, incidentals, and all other expenses not specifically mentioned above. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date.

3. Random Draw - A random draw will be conducted by the independent judging organization on or about June 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. EST in Brantford, Ontario from all eligible entries received to award the Grand Prize. In order to win, the Grand Prize selected entrant will be contacted by telephone, mail or courier, must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical aid and must be eligible according to the official rules. In the event the selected entrant cannot be contacted within 10 days of prize notification, or is unwilling / unable to travel on the event dates, another selected entrant will be randomly chosen. The winner will be notified by Royal Bank of Canada to make arrangements for the awarding of the Prize. The winner and their travel companion (or parent / legal guardian in the case of a minor) will be required to sign a standard Declaration and Liability Release form releasing Royal Bank of Canada, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Fairmont Waterfront (the Contest Sponsors) and their advertising and promotional agencies and the independent judging organization from all liability.

4. The contest is open to all legal residents of Saskatchewan who have reached the age of majority except employees (and persons with whom they are domiciled) of the Royal Bank of Canada, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Waterfront and their advertising and promotional agencies and the independent judging organization. The contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors are final and the Royal Bank of Canada, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Fairmont Waterfront shall not be held responsible for any accident, negligence, printing, administrative or other errors that may arise or occur in connection with the contest. The Royal Bank of Canada, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Fairmont Waterfront reserve the right to modify, amend or terminate this contest with no obligation or liability, subject to applicable law. Any such notice will be posted on Royal Bank of Canada's web site located a www.rbcroyalbank.com

5. Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-refundable, non-transferable and is not convertible to cash. The Royal Bank of Canada, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver and Fairmont Waterfront reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant. By entering this contest, the entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, video image, and/or photograph in any related publicity or Internet posting without compensation. All personal information collected during this contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest.
