By subscribing to receive the RBC Next Great Innovator Challenge™ Text Alerts (the “Text Alerts”) from Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”) you agree to be bound by these Terms. If these Terms are unacceptable to you, please do not subscribe for Text Alerts. You agree that these Terms are the complete agreement between you and RBC with respect to Text Alerts.

Text Alerts will inform or remind you about key dates or milestones in the RBC Next Great Innovator Challenge contest, for example, when registration is open. Your subscription will terminate when the contest closes. The following Canadian carriers are supported for this service: Aliant Mobility, Bell Mobility, Fido, MTS Mobility, NorthernTel Mobility, Rogers Wireless, SaskTel Mobility, Télébec Mobilité, Telus Mobility and Virgin Mobile,. There is no charge for Text Alerts, but you may incur standard messaging rates from your mobile phone network. You agree to check with your wireless carrier for information on your text messaging plan and rates.

You may receive a Text Alerts on your mobile phone to confirm your subscription. To cancel Text Alerts at any time, send the word STOP to RBCRBC (722722) from your mobile phone. You may then receive a Text Alerts to confirm that you have unsubscribed from the service. You may also unsubscribe by e-mailing a request, including your mobile telephone number, to nextgreatinnovator@rbc.com.

RBC may collect personal information from you when you subscribe for Text Alerts. You authorize RBC to use your personal information as necessary to send you Text Alerts and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will not sell or otherwise distribute the subscription information you provide and we will not send you any messages for other purposes.

Although we make every effort to provide secure transmission of information, timely communication and confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. In no event shall RBC be liable for any loss or harm resulting from your use of or your reliance on the content of a Text Alert or failure to receive a Text Alert in a timely manner or at all, or from a breach of confidentiality in respect of your use of the service.

RBC reserves the right to change or discontinue the service or your access to it at any time without notice and without limitation. These Terms may be changed at any time without notice by updating this posting and you agree to be bound by such updates. Accordingly, you agree to review these Terms on a regular basis. These Terms shall be governed by and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and any legal action concerning these Terms must be brought in the courts in the Province of Ontario.
