Des tendances similaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9es dans d\u2019autres r\u00e9gions de l\u2019Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Au Canada, le programme d\u2019incitatifs du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a \u00e9puis\u00e9 ses fonds au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, avant la date pr\u00e9vue, mettant fin \u00e0 la subvention de 5\u00a0000\u00a0$ qui avait motiv\u00e9 les acheteurs \u00e0 opter pour un VE. Le Qu\u00e9bec, qui est en train de mettre fin \u00e0 ses mesures incitatives, a \u00e9galement interrompu son programme pendant deux mois en raison du volume \u00e9lev\u00e9 de demandes. Les d\u00e9cideurs politiques et les acteurs de l\u2019industrie automobile se demandent maintenant si les ventes de VE au Canada peuvent tenir la route en l\u2019absence de mesures incitatives. Les donn\u00e9es de janvier indiquent d\u00e9j\u00e0 une baisse des ventes de VE.<\/p>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce aux subventions, une voiture sur sept vendue l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re \u00e9tait un VE. Ce niveau \u00e9lev\u00e9 peut \u00eatre attribu\u00e9 au fait que les acheteurs se sont pr\u00e9cipit\u00e9s pour faire un achat avant que les mesures incitatives ne soient progressivement supprim\u00e9es. Comme on le souligne dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbc.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/03\/actionclimatique25.pdf\">Action climatique\u00a02025\u00a0: Une ann\u00e9e de r\u00e9orientation<\/a>, notre rapport annuel phare, pr\u00e8s de 90\u00a0% des ventes de VE ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de subventions f\u00e9d\u00e9rales ou provinciales.<\/p>\n<p>Voici les principaux facteurs qui pourraient influer sur l\u2019adoption des VE au Canada cette ann\u00e9e\u00a0:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>1.<\/strong> <strong>La suppression progressive des mesures incitatives. <\/strong>Certains constructeurs de v\u00e9hicules continuent de remplacer les mesures incitatives pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment offertes par les gouvernements afin d\u2019att\u00e9nuer les co\u00fbts pour les consommateurs. Nous croyons que les mesures incitatives demeureront un facteur d\u2019adoption essentiel, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019atteinte de la parit\u00e9 des prix avec les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 essence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> <strong>Les tarifs et les barri\u00e8res commerciales.<\/strong> G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, les tarifs font monter les prix, et les VE n\u2019\u00e9chappent pas \u00e0 cette tendance, malgr\u00e9 le fait qu\u2019on trouve des v\u00e9hicules de marques asiatiques, moins chers, dans ce segment. En outre, les incertitudes sur le plan g\u00e9opolitique se traduisent par des retards dans la mise en \u0153uvre des plans de production de VE au Canada.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n3. Les craintes \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de l\u2019autonomie.<\/strong> La crainte que la batterie se d\u00e9charge compl\u00e8tement pendant les d\u00e9placements compte parmi les principaux facteurs de dissuasion pour les acheteurs. Cependant, l\u2019autonomie des batteries a \u00e9t\u00e9 grandement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e\u00a0; \u00e0 preuve, des VE soumis \u00e0 des essais par temps froid<sup>1<\/sup> ont une autonomie moyenne de 300\u00a0kilom\u00e8tres avec une seule charge, ce qui est suffisant pour permettre \u00e0 90\u00a0% des Canadiens de se rendre au travail chaque semaine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. La perception d\u2019un manque de bornes de recharge.<\/strong> Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les sites de recharge publics se sont multipli\u00e9s, passant \u00e0 12\u00a0000\u00a0au pays, tandis qu\u2019on y compte 10\u00a0000 stations-service. Toutefois, ces sites se trouvent principalement dans des zones urbaines. Le ratio optimal est de 20\u00a0\u00e0\u00a025\u00a0VE par borne de recharge<sup>2<\/sup>. Toutefois, il faudra \u00e9largir consid\u00e9rablement le r\u00e9seau pour stimuler l\u2019adoption des VE par les personnes n\u2019ayant pas toujours acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une borne de recharge \u00e0 domicile.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.\u00a0L\u2019incidence sur le climat.<\/strong> Selon notre rapport annuel, la croissance des ventes de VE au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l\u2019augmentation des \u00e9missions dans le secteur. Si l\u2019objectif de ventes de VE est atteint malgr\u00e9 les difficult\u00e9s qu\u2019\u00e9prouvent les constructeurs automobiles, <a href=\"https:\/\/leadershipavise.rbc.com\/bouleversements-climatiques-passionnes-de-science-menaces-de-tarifs-douaniers-et-decrets-presidentiels\/\">on devrait observer une autre r\u00e9duction de
