La construction d\u2019un logement peut n\u00e9cessiter plusieurs ann\u00e9es, surtout lorsque les projets sont complexes et de grande envergure. Cependant, un revirement de situation s\u2019est produit l\u2019an dernier, au cours duquel le nombre de logements achev\u00e9s a atteint un sommet sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" pad-b-qtr\">Les indicateurs laissent croire que le parc de logements continuera de s\u2019accro\u00eetre consid\u00e9rablement \u00e0 court terme. Les projets en pr\u00e9paration n\u2019ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi nombreux, et beaucoup d\u2019entre eux sont sur le point d\u2019\u00eatre achev\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la grande quantit\u00e9 d\u2019unit\u00e9s dont la construction a commenc\u00e9 il y a deux ou trois ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, en raison de la stagnation des ventes avant construction, le flux d\u2019unit\u00e9s faisant partie des projets en pr\u00e9paration ralentit. La demande de nouvelles constructions s\u2019est effondr\u00e9e. Il se rapproche d\u00e9sormais des niveaux observ\u00e9s avant la pand\u00e9mie. Bon nombre d\u2019entre elles sont encore invendues. Toutefois, les municipalit\u00e9s ont autoris\u00e9 la construction d\u2019un nombre de nouveaux logements fr\u00f4lant un record au cours de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e. Les co\u00fbts de construction r\u00e9sidentielle ont augment\u00e9 de 36&nbsp;% au Canada depuis 2021.
