The RBC Future Launch Community Challenge is bringing youth like you to the decision-making table<\/h2>\n\n\n\t\n\t

Supporting inspiring youth-led initiatives from coast to coast to coast, the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge is providing opportunities for youth to create positive change while also learning new skills, gaining experience, and building relationships across their community \u2014 all things that will help them prepare for the future of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have community foundations and communities been selected?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The RBC Future Launch Challenge is focused on supporting youth, aged 15 – 29, in small and mid-sized communities, defined as those with populations of 150,000 residents or less. The Challenge will focus on youth-led initiatives in 150 communities, and funds have been allocated to ensure participation in every province and territory. Applications are now closed and young Canadians from coast to coast to coast are now working on over 200 projects!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About RBC Future Launch Community Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The <\/a>RBC Future Launch Community Challenge<\/a> is a national initiative that supports youth leaders as they respond to local priorities and prepare for the future. It is hosted by <\/a>Community Foundations of Canada<\/a> and participating local community foundations made possible with the $5,000,000 donation from the <\/a>RBC Foundation<\/a>. It is part of RBC Future Launch, a commitment by RBC and the RBC Foundation to empower Canadian youth for the jobs of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From food security, to the environment, to reconciliation, young people know what their communities need to thrive and the RBC Future Launch Community Challenge is helping shift the power into the hands of the youth to address urgent local priorities across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\n\t
