What is Own the Podium?

Own the Podium 2010

“Own The Podium - 2010” is a technical sport program designed to help Canadian athletes achieve unprecedented podium success at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This program, is supported by the Canadian Olympic Foundation’s Own the Podium Fund, marks the first time that Canada’s winter sports organizations have banded together to map out a plan to give Canadian athletes the solid support they need to perform up to their highest potential.

How is RBC helping?

As a contributing partner of Own the Podium, RBC has committed to raising $3 million for the initiative in support of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympics Winter Games Teams. In March 2006, the RBC 2010 Flag Tour kicked off with a $500,000 donation to Own the Podium.
