Tania's Bio

Tania Vicent is a three-time Olympian in short track speed skating (1998, 2002 and 2006), and winner of two Olympic bronze and one Olympic silver medal. She hopes to add to her medal collection at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Athletic Goals

Attend the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and win a team, as well as an individual medal.

Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment

The first time I walked in the stadium at my very first Olympics (1998) and realized I had made it!

Best Advice You've Ever Received

To keep on keeping on! Proof - I am trying for my fourth Olympics!

Being an RBC Athlete means...

I get the chance to promote sport with the support of RBC. It’s a chance for me to see what the future holds for me when I retire. All this while still being able to continue speed skating.
