Martine's Bio

In her 20 years as a biathlete, Martine has brought home an international bronze medal and over 30 Canadian and North American titles. In 2006 she realized her dream of competing at an Olympic Winter Games. Now retired, Martine is back in school studying at the CRTQ in Quebec City to become a TV/Radio announcer.

Athletic Goals

Now that I'm retired and involved as a coach for my Quebec biathlon federation, I'd like to help the athletes I work with achieve their DREAMS. What's more, the RBC Olympians Program, and its various activities, provides me with an opportunity to encourage healthy lifestyles and physical activity in society.

Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment

That's easy: qualifying to fulfill my dream, which was to go to the Olympic Games.

Best Advice You've Ever Received

Take it one step at a time.

Being an RBC Athlete means...

It's a privilege for me to be a part of the program. It allows me to teach the young, and the not-so-young, how to feed their passion, meet challenges and adopt healthy lifestyles.
