Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment

January 24, 2008 - in Texas. At this competition, I managed to both meet Sport Canada's selection criteria and secure a place for Canada at the Beijing Games by finishing 16th in the world. An unbelievable feat, given that I had taken up archery only seven months prior to the competition.

Best Advice You've Ever Received

When competing, it's important to stay focused on yourself and not on other people's performance, since you have no control over anyone else. Also, it's really important to have fun when competing.

Being an RBC Athlete means...

Being an Olympian demonstrates my passion for life, and sport is one of the sparks that sets this passion alight.
