- To develop my game and continue to become a complete player
- To enjoy my journey with the sport!
Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment
Similar memory in 2002 and 2006. After the end of our gold medal hockey game, we have the medal presentation on the ice. My favourite moment was looking down that line and seeing my friends and teammates get Olympic Gold medals placed around their necks. To me, that was the best!
Best Advice You've Ever Received
I have been given very good advice on a number of occasions. A few of the best pieces that come to mind: Enjoy the journey (“success is a journey, not a destination”). Have no regrets (“never have to say I wish I would have”). Why not you? (Believe in yourself).
Being an RBC Athlete means...
It is an honour to be an RBC Olympian. I have always said that one of the best things about being a part of Team Canada is the chance to share our experiences. RBC provides an opportunity to do so. We can share our experiences, contribute to the company and the community, and increase the Olympic spirit.
