Hugh placed 15th in the all around Gymnastics event at the recent Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro. This international success came on the tails of his silver medal performance (floor event) at the 2007 National Championships. He was also the 2002 Pan American Junior Championships bronze medallist on the vault. His current goal is to represent Canada at the 2008 Olympic Games, and he hopes to eventually own his own gym and become a coach.
