Favourite Olympic/ Sporting Moment

I didn’t realize it then but looking back my favourite sporting moment was not my greatest or best accomplishment but it was the last time I competed at Provincials in swimming when I was 17 and won the 1500m Freestyle. My dad was there in the stands with a couple of other parents from my team and he was video taping my race. About a year ago I found that recording and I let it play through my whole race that was about 16 minutes. I remembered being excited that I won but I never realized until I watched that video how excited and proud my dad was. It was a very special moment for me watching it and realizing that. It was also the first time since I lost my dad that I heard his voice.
