Benoît's Bio

At his two Paralympic Games (2000 and 2004) Benoit collected an impressive haul of 12 Paralympic swimming medals - 8 of which are gold. The 20-time World Championship medallist holds more than 20 world records and was nominated by his peers to carry the Canadian flag at the 2007 Pan American Games Closing Ceremonies.

Participate in my third Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2008. Achieve six personal best times at the Games.

Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment

Winning my first gold medal, at the 2000 Paralympic Games. Being the Canadian flag bearer at the Para Pan American Games closing ceremonies.
