Snowboarder Alex Duckworth is a National Champion and Junior World silver medallist. The energetic Nova Scotian hopes to compete for Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Duckworth loves the fact that her sport has given her the opportunity to travel the world and meet interesting people.

Junior Worlds in Korea was a really fun time. They built us a perfect jump, I landed some cool tricks, and I got to leave with a medal.

I love this program because it’s given me the chance to meet and work with athletes from so many different sports. It brings the whole Canadian sporting community together and it’s definitely a nice feeling to be a part of RBC’s Olympic efforts.
