Alex's Bio

With only six years as a competitive Freestyle Snowboarder under her belt, Alex is already poised for international success. She captured the gold medal at the 2007 Canada Winter Games and 2007 Canadian National Championships, as well as the silver medal at the 2006 Junior World Championships. Her dream is to compete for Canada at the Olympic Games and to qualify for the X-Games.

Athletic Goals

As a snowboarder, there are many things I would like to accomplish throughout my career. My ultimate goal is to participate in the Olympic Games if not in 2010 then in the 2014 Winter Games. However, I have aspirations to qualify for the X-Games and to podium at the top professional contests within the US such as the US Open, Vans Cup, etc.

Favourite Olympic/Sporting Moment

Getting together with a big group of my friends and just riding around the whole mountain in the spring when the snow is soft and you can wear your t shirt!
