Royal Canadian Golf Association established in 1895, the governing body of golf in Canada with the mandate to grow and foster the game at all levels throughout the country.

History:

First played in 1904; 3rd oldest national championship in the world.

Club History:

Glen Abbey Golf Club - Originally established in 1976; designed by Jack Nicklaus. Home of the Canadian Open from 1977 to 2000 (1980 and 1997 played at Royal Montreal Golf Club). Host of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Open, 2004. The 2009 RBC Canadian Open will be the 25th time the championship has been held at Glen Abbey.
