Cyber Security Awareness

 

Our objective is to raise cyber security awareness for
RBC clients and help promote safe, comfortable Internet experiences. To that end, here is helpful information and useful tips:

Client Safe Computing Practices

  1. Recognize Online Threats
  • if you do not know the source of an e-mail or if it looks suspicious in any way, the best action is do not open it, just delete it
  • be aware of current security threats: identity theft, scams
  • recognize spam as a cyber threat and don't contribute to the problem
  1. Protect Your Personal Information
  • be aware of current online ploys and their variations, i.e. phishing
  • Social Engineering can come through any communication channel: telephone, computers, fax machines, hardcopy mail, in person. See our tips to help you protect your identity.
