RBC named to 2008 Dow Jones Sustainability Index
TORONTO, September 6, 2007 — For the eighth consecutive
year, RBC has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World
Index, an annual review that recognizes the world's financial,
social and environmental corporate leaders. RBC was also named
to the DJSI North America Index.
These indices list leading companies from around the world
that create long-term shareholder value by taking on opportunities
and managing risks stemming from economic, environmental and
social developments.
The Dow Jones Sustainability World Indexes track the financial
performance of leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.
The annual review influences the investment decisions of asset
managers who use the DJSI family as objective benchmarks for
sustainability portfolios.
RBC congratulates the other Canadian companies that are included
on the indices.
This honour adds to an impressive suite of recognition garnered
