RBC Financial Group named to 2006 Dow Jones Sustainability Index

September 7, 2005 — For the sixth consecutive year, RBC Financial Group has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, an annual review that recognizes the world's financial, social and environmental corporate leaders.

The 2006 Index lists companies from around the world that lead their industries in terms of sustainability, a business approach to creating long-term shareholder value by taking on opportunities and managing risks stemming from economic, environmental and social developments. Companies included on the Index are recognized as being the top 10 per cent in corporate sustainability, leading their industries in best practices.

RBC was selected because of its commitment to environmental and social standards and strong financial results.
