Royal Bank of Canada declares dividends

TORONTO, August 23, 2017 -  Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) announced today that its board of directors has declared an increase to its quarterly common share dividend of four cents, or five per cent, to 91 cents per share, payable on and after November 24, 2017, to common shareholders of record at the close of business on October 26, 2017.

The board also declared dividends for the following Non-Cumulative First Preferred Shares, payable on and after November 24, 2017, to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 26, 2017.
