RBC named to 2015/2016 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index

TORONTO, September 10, 2015 - RBC has been named to the 2015/2016 Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index, an annual review that recognizes financial, social and environmental corporate leaders.

This index lists publicly-traded companies that create long-term shareholder value by embracing opportunities and managing risks stemming from economic, environmental and social developments. The annual review influences the investment decisions of asset managers who use the DJSI family as objective benchmarks for assessing sustainability portfolios.

RBC has been named one of Canada's Greenest Employers, one of Canada's 50 Most Socially Responsible Corporations and one of the Best Workplaces in Canada. RBC is also listed on the Jantzi Social Index and the FTSE4Good Index.
