TORONTO, March 7, 2012 — RBC today announced that Maude-Aimee Leblanc of Sherbrooke, Quebec will join Team RBC as part of the Emerging Professionals program. This new partnership continues to build RBC's ongoing commitment to golf and supporting Canadian athletes.

"Maude-Aimee is a bright, rising star in the world of golf, a welcome addition to Team RBC and we are proud of what she has accomplished," explains Jim Little, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, RBC. "We want to support new and emerging talent with their goal of playing on the PGA and LPGA Tours, and look forward to cheering Maude-Aimee on as she continues to realize her competitive potential."

RBC is the official Banking and Financial Services partner of Team RBC which includes Jim Furyk, Ernie Els, Matt Kuchar, Luke Donald, Mike Weir, Stephen Ames, Fred Couples, and Morgan Pressel. This group of world class golfers, along with the emerging professionals, will represent RBC at tournaments and carry RBC-branded golf bags.

"Becoming an RBC ambassador is a great opportunity, and to have the support of such a huge organization behind me while I play on the LPGA Tour is a dream come true and something I have worked hard for my entire life," said Maude Aimee Leblanc.

At just 23 years of age, Leblanc has shown remarkable talent throughout her young career. While attending secondary school in Magog, Quebec, she won both the 2006 and 2007 Quebec Junior Championships, as well as the 2007 Quebec Amateur Championship. Leblanc helped her collegiate team win the 2010 NCAA Team Championship, turned professional in June 2011, and recently earned Priority List Category for the 2012 LPGA season.
