WESTJET RBC MASTERCARD PUTTING CHALLENGE INVITES YOU TO
SEE HOW FAR A FEW PUTTS CAN TAKE YOU
Enter online starting May 10 before hitting the greens in
Toronto and Vancouver
TORONTO, MAY 11, 2011— Leading up to the 2011
RBC Canadian Open at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in
Vancouver, B.C. RBC is inviting the public to come and experience
the WestJet RBC Mastercard Putting Challenge with the chance
to win $250,000 for themselves and $250,000 for charity.
In addition to random daily and weekly prizes, participants
have several opportunities to qualify either by entering the
online contest at www.rbc.com/westjetputt
or at unique putting greens located in downtown Toronto, Vancouver
and onsite at the RBC Canadian Open. A total of eight participants
will earn a spot in the semi-finals taking place at the RBC
Canadian Open in Vancouver on July 23.
Two lucky finalists will then have the opportunity to make
their best 60 foot putt on the 18th green at Shaughnessy Golf
and Country Club immediately following play at the RBC Canadian
Open on Saturday, July 23 for their chance to win $250,000.

The WestJet RBC Mastercard Putting Challenge offers
players the chance to participate in a putting challenge
either online or via one of the unique putting greens
located in downtown Toronto, Vancouver and at Shaughnessy
Golf & Country Club. Participation is free.
Full rules and regulations will be available as of May
10 at www.rbc.com/westjetputt.

Why:

Each of the two finalists has the chance to win $250,000.
For each 60 foot winning putt, an additional $250,000
will be shared between the charities - $125,000 to the
Mike Weir Foundation and $62,500 to BC Children's Hospital
Foundation and $62,500 to F.O.R.C.E. Society for Kids'
Mental Health.
