RBC Global Asset Management Inc. announces February sales results for RBC Funds and PH&N Funds

TORONTO, MARCH 3, 2011— RBC Global Asset Management Inc. (RBC GAM) announced February net sales of $1.1 billion. Long-term funds had net sales of $1.4 billion and money market funds had net redemptions of $376 million. Assets under management increased by $3.0 billion or 2.7 per cent.

"It was a tremendous RRSP season for our family of funds, as advisors and investors continued to redeploy cash into longer term investments," said Doug Coulter, president of RBC Global Asset Management Inc. "With strong inflows across our diverse line-up of investment solutions throughout February, we continued to be an industry leader in long-term mutual fund net sales. Among our top performing funds, RBC Canadian Dividend Fund proved to be a favourite choice. The fund recently won the Lipper award for the Best Fund in the Canadian Dividend & Equity Income category for its outstanding 10-year track record."

The top selling RBC Funds and PH&N Funds for February included RBC Select Portfolios, PH&N Monthly Income Fund, RBC Canadian Dividend Fund, and RBC Managed Payout Solutions.
