RBC to host Investor Day on October 27, 2010

TORONTO, October 21, 2010 —  Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) is hosting a presentation for investors and analysts in Toronto on Wednesday, October 27, focusing on Canadian Banking. The session is expected to run from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 11:30 am. (EDT).

The presentation and a link to the live video webcast will be available on RBC's website at www.rbc.com/investorrelations/ir_events_presentations.html on the day of the event. The webcast will be archived for three months.
