See how far a few putts can take you with the WestJet RBC Mastercard Putting Challenge

Practice online before hitting the greens in Calgary and Toronto

TORONTO—  Leading up to the 2010 RBC Canadian Open at St. George's Golf & Country Club in Toronto, RBC is inviting the public to join the WestJet RBC Mastercard Putting Challenge for the chance to win $250,000 for themselves and $250,000 for charity.

In addition to random daily and weekly prizes, participants have several opportunities to qualify either by entering the online contest at www.rbc.com/westjetputt or at unique putting greens located in downtown Calgary, Toronto and onsite at the RBC Canadian Open.

Eight participants will earn a spot in the semi-finals taking place at Spectator Village at the RBC Canadian Open in Toronto on July 24. Two lucky finalists will then have the opportunity to make their best putt on the 18th green at St. George's Golf & Country Club immediately following play at the RBC Canadian Open on Saturday, July 24 for their chance to win $250,000.


The WestJet RBC Mastercard Putting Challenge offers players the chance to participate in a putting challenge either online or via one of the unique putting greens located in downtown Calgary, Toronto and at St. George's Golf & Country Club. Participation is free. Full rules and regulations are available as of June 1 at www.rbc.com/westjetputt.


Each of the two finalists has the chance to win $250,000. For each winning putt, an additional $250,000 will be shared between two charities - $125,000 to the Mike Weir Foundation and $125,000 to Bloorview Kids Rehab
