RBC to announce third quarter results on August 27

TORONTO, August 4, 2009 — Royal Bank of Canada (RY on TSX and NYSE) will release its third quarter results and host an earnings conference call on August 27, 2009. Results are expected to be released at approximately 6:00 a.m. (EST) and the conference call is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. (EST).

The conference call will feature a presentation by RBC executives followed by a question and answer period with analysts.
