Royal Bank of Canada declares dividends
TORONTO, February 26, 2009 — Royal Bank of Canada
(RY on TSX and NYSE) today declared a quarterly common share
dividend of $0.50 per share, payable on May 22, 2009, to common
shareholders of record on April 23, 2009.
The board also declared dividends on the following Non-Cumulative
First Preferred Shares, payable on May 22, 2009, to shareholders
of record on April 23, 2009.

- Series AA, Dividend No. 13 of $0.278125 per share.
- Series AB, Dividend No. 11 of $0.29375 per share.
- Series AC, Dividend No. 10 of $0.2875 per share.

- Series AE, Dividend No. 9 of $0.28125 per share.
